Rooted in New Taipei, creating a new heyday

The most salient feature of Taiwan's biggest City Council is that no fewer than 51 of its councilors (77%) are currently serving their second or higher term which speaks of their defication to the city. Fifteen seats are filled by new councilors, who are familiar with the people’s needs and building up municipal governance. Upholding the philosophy of “pass on experience, relay to the new generation” we pass on the best practices in policy making to the next generation so that they can quickly learn the ropes to best express the people’s will, supervise the City Government and create a brilliant New Taipei City.
